Why hay?

There's a few reasons, mate.

1. The best drinking straw going 'round.

We know plastic straws are planet killers. We know paper straws go soggy. Hay straws? None of that thanks mate.

It's pretty simple. Hay straws are the best straws going 'round.

They're completely natural. And they don't go soggy. In fact, hay straws actually improve while you drink. This is because the wheat stem naturally rehydrates in any liquid, becoming bendy like plastic.

That means you're getting the benefits of plastic but from the goodness of nature.

Throw into the mix the fact hay straws are disposable, taste-free, compostable, biodegradable, gluten-free, organic, vegan-friendly, as well as ridiculously good looking, you have yourself a clear champion.

Still using paper or plastic? I'm sorry, but you're having a giraffe mate.

2. Mother Nature approved.

Because hay straws are completely natural, after you've tossed them in the bin or compost, they'll simply break down like a leaf.

Our straws are the byproduct of a wheat harvest. The grain of the wheat plant is harvested for flour to make bread and pasta. But our straws come from the leftover stem of the plant, the part the harvester isn't able to get to and is often discarded or even burnt off before growing the next crop.

We simply pick, boil, sterilise and cook them. No nasty chemicals, No manufacturing. We’re just taking straws back to their original, natural roots. And it turns out the original straw makes a bloody good straw.

Disposable never felt so good.

3. Great for business.
